I'm studying overseas now. I bought a 2nd hand phone off someone from the same university. After just a few days of use, my phone got blocked!!!! I didn't know about IMEI etc until this time. So I checked the IMEI # and found out it's been blocked. I think it's likely a stolen phone. I tried sending emails to the seller but he refused to answer me.
I'm about to finish studying and will be back in Hong Kong. So if HK doesn't use IMEI, that means I can use it in HK?
Someone please help me, thanks! I'm stuck as the phone was quite expensive even when I paid 2nd hand price (~AUD650).
