Georgia Laura Henley, otherwise known as "Georgie" was born on July 9th, 1995. She began acting at a young age, joining her local drama club; Ilkley Upstagers' Theatre Group.

Georgie had appeared in several stage plays before winning the part of Lucy Pevensie, and starring in the huge blockbuster film - The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Shortly after Narnia she was picked to appear in the BBC television drama of Jane Eyre, securing her career as a young actress.

Despite her star studded life Georgie remains a grounded and normal girl. She lives in Ilkley in West Yorkshire, England with her Parents; Mike and Helen Henley, and her two elder sisters; Rachael and Laura. Georgie currently attends "Bradford Grammar School" and loves to read and write stories.

Trivia:

Her favourite films are "Shrek", "Sleeping Beauty", "Billy Elliot" and "Star Wars 3".

When on set Georgie loves snacking on cherry tomatoes and listening to her ipod.

Georgie loves writing and wrote two books on the set of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe". One titled The Snow Stag, the other A Pillar of Secrets.

As a thank you gift for being in his movie, Andrew Adamson gave each of the children an iPod. When Georgie got hers she thanked him whole-heartedly, but once he was out of earshot she turned to her mother and said, "What is it?"

Whilst filming The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), she was thrown a party to celebrate her 9th birthday (July 2004).

Her elder sister Rachael Henley played the older version of Lucy in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).

Georgie kept a tape-recorded journal of her experiences during the filming of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). Some of this was later published in a book about the making of the film.
