- I never heard of 某類人有免税 in USA... The store charges the same tax for everyone. I never heard of a Tax free card or Tax free ID... Only buying in Chinatown, you may tell the guy that you pay cash, and he saves you the tax.

- Like NY, clothing and shoes are tax free for the first $100 or so per item... (Well... even you buy in HK, you believe you have paid tax too, but you can say the tax included in the price, but in US, you have to calculate yourself.)
- Outlet is good for shopping on branded name item... Most American brand stuffs are cheaper here... Coach, A/X, Timberland etc etc... (I never care much about brands, so I always felt clothes are cheaper in HK.)
