Yes. today's win is greatly supported by bench player : Lowry, Landry, Wafer
However, Artest & Brooks are not perform well at their position. Artest still insist to show his value for too many bad shots. Brooks, poor on defence & cannot control the game well (just with speed only). Adelman did two good jobs in this game, 1) put Mutombo at starting line-up (perform well at defence) 2) use Lowry to defence CP3 at 4th Q which is much bettter than Brooks.
After Yao absence, we can conclude some points to improve Rcokets performance.
1. Give Mutombo more playing time (10-12 min) in some match-up or when the team take double digit lead situation. which can release the burden on Yao. (28-32 min is much better for Yao)
2. Use Lowry at starting PG which can control the speed of the game much better than Brooks. Besides, Brooks speed & style is more suitable to play as back-up & cope with Wafer & landry. (fast little size team)
3 Limit the shooting frequnecy of Artest (keep the ball on hand too much time)
