hello guys, need some help on setting up a ip-gre tunnel in gentoo.  i have all the required stuffs, either compiled-in or as module.  i can manual setup the tunnel and it works ok.  BUT i have tried to modify the net.conf, so that the tunnel can start at boot.... and it just won't start. (manual start its still ok though).  any idea??  thank you.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

i am using the 10Mbps AO from PCCW, and they will need IP GRE tunnel....

You mean manually start the your shell script and it goes well ?
if that is the case, I doubt that you are missing some environmental variables, I hope you are not silly as me, cos, last time, I forget to 'source' a environmental bash scripts before running another shell script, everything goes wrong.
