小弟想請教一下, 由加拿大買既iphone 3g, firmware 2.1, 未jailbreak, 用緊card貼, 想自己unlock,update firmware(2.2 or 2.2.1都無所謂), 同埋jailbreak, 正確次序應該點做???

我嘗試答自己既問題:
1) use PwnageTool (on MAC OS only), with customized 2.2.1 ipsw firmware file(iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore.ipsw ?), to update my firmware to 2.2.1 with baseband 2.28.
2) then Jailbreak using QuickPwn (windows or Mac) ,
3) then thru Cydia (on iphone), install Yellowsn0w. and use that to soft unlock the 3g iphone.

so no need to run iTunes in the entire process?
is that right?
