After 'your first stop', it is supposed to be 'a place' instead of 'an action'. So it should be 'be your doctor' since it actually refers to 'you doctor's place', ie. 'clinic' or somewhere else.
In fact, 'rather' can be omiitted in this sentence. In this case, 'rather' is like 'very', but with a negative meaning.
You 'talk to' somebody but you 'tell' somebody something.
It should be 'Water from household taps' (subject) 'consists' (verb) and so on.
