I am totally agree with you. I was graduate after Sars in 2003. The first job i got was $6000 only as well. But that job even need me to station in Cambodia.
Really dunno why those new graduate cannot accept $4000 or liitle bit more and station in China. Its a chance for them to get experience.
The current market is even worst than SARS period. If a graduate don't have any experience, I think that they don't need to expect too much. Just find a job and get some experience. Don't say / complain too much.
