yes, in Rioja, the year aging is same (3 year), but the requriement in oak is more.  For RED wine it should be 18 months.  So derekastoria 兄 is correct that 18 months+ in barrel, but in additional, it should be totally 3 years aging (include aging in bottle) before sales.

the price cannot be cheap based on this aging requirement.  however, whether it's good or not.........another question
