Most of the maids like eating so much, but only will not eat a lot in front of you.  

I have experience in hiring Indonesian and Filipino.  I found Indonesian is more "Wai Sick" but it doesn't mean Filipino not "Wai Sick".  Filipino likes to pretend to eat little bit in front of you and eat as much as possible while you're not at home.  After all, Filipino will buy their own snacks sometimes and Indonesian will eat whatever you provided to them.
